Mathison Engineering were commissioned to carry out some emergency work on one of the gears that operates the Boskalis crane. This floating crane was working to dredge the sea floor in Portsmouth Harbour to make it deep enough to allow the Royal Navy aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth, to berth in the dockyard. The ship ran into a slight issue with the crane and we were on hand to effect a quick repair to allow the dredge to continue her time-sensitive work.
